Bill White comes by humor and storytelling naturally. His dad and his dad's grandmother were natural storytellers and quick-witted humorists. Bill, a Kentucky native, is also a writer, poet, spiritual explorer, gardener and mostly retired fly rod fisherman. Bill is an expert dating and love relationship coach. He developed his Relationship by Design technology 16 years ago after a quarter of a century of personally making a large number of relationship mistakes. Bill has been successfully married to Noel for 13 years. She says, “Bill's the funniest person I know.” His website is www.lovethatlasts.com . APRIL 5, 2006 - "It's About Time" Willow Sibert's life is a unique blend of two worlds -- she is a successful businesswoman with 35 years experience in training and education, and a practicing psychic for more than 30 years. A native Californian, she worked at Apple Computer for 14 years, becoming the national training manager for Customer Service. Never feeling that she truly belonged in the corporate arena, she'd ask her guidance every year, "Can I go now?" One day, she got the answer. "Yes!" She quit her job, put everything she owned in storage, bought a 20-foot travel-trailer, and set out with her dog, Jackson. 18 months later, she landed in Tucson, AZ, where she has made a home for the past eight years. Her company, Peak Aspirations, www.peakaspirations.com works with men and women to help them succeed in their professions, businesses, and in their personal lives through customized hypnosis, imagery, mentoring, and training services. After living most of her life in the Great White North, including 15 years in Canada, Kate Armstrong feels she has finally come home to the high desert surrounding Tucson. She has spent most of her life in service as an alternative counselor, as a clinical psychologist, a teacher, an energy educator, and a researcher. For Kate there has always been a great love and appreciation for the stories we weave of our lives, the stories of our ancestors, the stories of our children, and now the stories of our grandchildren. Kate feels it is these stories that hold us, connect us, and teach us about life in all its‚ many forms. A thought she would like to leave you with: “Live your life as if it were sacred and you the Hero. Make decisions and act as the Heroine in your own story.” Becca Howard has a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and has over 10 years experience as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. Over time she connected this work to newer research about the brain and energy transformation and received training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), TFT (Thought Field Therapy), and Brain Gym. Becca currently works at Mirasol, a residential treatment center for eating disorders where she specializes in trauma work. Deborah McCullough is a mixed media artist working in cloth, paper, wood or a combination of the three depending on the subject and message of the work. Her parents were always active in social issues, but it was her junior year in college, spent in Beirut, Lebanon that changed her life. After college she taught in Cairo at an Egyptian girls' school and her experiences there led to a lifetime interest in human rights issues. Since then her travels have led her around the world and her art reflects much of her experience. For the past two years Deborah and her husband, Ed, have volunteered in Southern Arizona with the organization, No More Deaths. Her art is now primarily focused on the issues surrounding the suffering and deaths that are occurring along the border. She is the past president of Paperworks: the Sonoran Collective of Book and Paper Artists ( http://www.paperworks.info ).
Dorothea Nobile is a soprano vocalist & performer. Her performing career in Tucson has ranged from acting & directing in local theatre, to singing operatic duets in concert, and jazz & pop standards in the local clubs on the Congress St. Strip. (Her "pop diva" rep was earned through gigs like the one at the Congress Hotel Tap Room where she serenaded patrons with German Lieder while standing on the bar.) As a Classical Announcer on KUAT-FM, she earned a "Best of Tucson" award. Dorothea landed in Tucson after a cross-country trek from New York City were she lived for 13 years. Enough time to collect many life stories while owning 2 businesses, studying and performing in both the operatic and jazz sphere, working with others on the first LGBT organizations & marches in New York and touring Europe with an NYC Clown Troupe. Along the way she earned an undergrad degree in Music Ed and a Master's degree in Social Work. Dorothea guarantees that any story that she tells will be Stranger than Fiction; Truer than Fact!
