Phoenix Wheeler began her performing career at age 8 by proclaiming ". . . the Emperor has on nothing but his underwear!" She's had several small roles &/or crew positions through the years, even actually getting PAID on one occasion! In '76 she finally "got" what the Women's Movement was proclaiming and became an activist for several years on a larger stage. Very recently she has become convinced that corporations are the real "emperors" who rule this country, and that their underwear is soiled in the extreme and lately is showing more and more.
