AUGUST 2, 2006 "Roommates"

Kim Mathews, a refugee from Bob Dylan’s bleak and narrow-minded Midwest, turned up in Tucson in 1978 about to give birth to the first of two beautiful daughters. When not on the road driving big rigs across the land, she is still here, sequestered in a brick tract house in "The Arts District of the Future," Tucson’s East Side, where she writes poems and fifty page letters in longhand and communes with her collection of vinyl records. "…Truth is not beauty, beauty is not love, love is not music. Music is the best!" -Frank Zappa

Prasenjit Ray is literally "the king/conqueror whose domain is happiness and cheer."Born and raised in Ohio (The Heart Of It All!), he moved to L.A. to get his Ph.D. in chemical engineering and to restart his life. Because he did not enjoy crowded highways, a polluted city, or having to live to 150 before being able to afford a house, he moved to Tucson after grad school. In his spare time, he enjoys fighting the various deadly plant and animal life indigenous to the desert and using his turn signal when appropriate.

K. Sean Buvala is the father of four (daughters) and husband of one (wife) which alone makes a good story. He's the director of Storyteller.net and a fulltime storyteller traveling the United States working with adult and teens (mostly) as well as children's groups.  Sean describes the collection of stories in his head as "life and legend" representing the mix of stories from his experiences, myth and legend from many cultures, sacred stories and observations of shared life events. He describes his style as somewhere between "in your life and in your face" depending on the needs of the group he's telling to/with at any given gathering. And someday when he's totally fried on his life with Storytelling, he wants to retire to raise bees and grapes in his home in Avondale, AZ. So, that means both bees and grapes are safe for the time being. His website is at http://www.seantells.com

Bill White comes by humor and storytelling naturally. His dad and his dad’s mother were natural storytellers and quick-witted humorists. Bill, a Kentucky native, is also a writer, poet, spiritual explorer, gardener and mostly retired fly rod fisherman. Bill is an expert dating and loverelationship coach. He developed his Relationship by Design technology16 years ago after a quarter of a century of personally making a very large number of relationship mistakes. Although much improved, Bill continues to learn from his "mistakes". Bill muses, "Lately, people have been telling me that my calling is in my humor and to forget about all the serious stuff. What’s a guy to do to be taken seriously!? I guess I have to be funny to be taken seriously",  His website is http://www.lovethatlasts.com
