Tryshe Dhevney ’s work with sound evolved out of her professional careers as an award-winning actor and director and alcohol/drug educator and became her spiritual path. Through her diagnosis of chronic Hepatitis C and liver disease, she saw an opportunity to integrate Eastern and Western modalities of treatment. She turned to sound for answers and discovered its power for vibrational healing. She now enjoys complete health and shares the story of her journey to well-being. www.soundshifting.com

Kristopher Erik Lindquist is a native of small-town Minnesota and grew up there and in Phoenix. Formal education was in classical religious music, with grad studies in spiritualities, consciousness and the arts. After living in Berkeley and San Francisco for 20 years, I moved to Tucson eight years ago – for the immense sunshine and summer heat, combined with its liberal-progressive bent. I am a pianist-composer, developing my own blend of folk, jazz and classical influences, expressed through solo composition, keyboard improvisation and vocal chantsong. Right now I have a day job to pay the rent. I meditate daily for sanity. And I live a pretty simple lifestyle. As a transitory label, at least as of this writing, I’d say I’m a "Queer Mystic Musician" – in shifting orders of significance. (P.S. I’m available if you know a compatible, single gay guy.) J

Sara Regezi recently dragged her boyfriend from the clutches of Los Angeles and forced him to move back to his hometown of Tucson with her. Without sounding too airy fairy, what she loves most about Tucson is being at one with the desert. She looks forward to living the rest of her life surrounded by sharp, spiny things that she desperately wishes she could hug. A former stand-up comic and creative-writing-workshop addict, Sara is attempting a career change into the refreshingly objective world of science and healthcare, in particular. She is a regular with Tucson’s Monolog Cabin and is scared to death of working again "without a net" or more literally, "without a script." Sara relishes the opportunity, however, to share her stories with whoever will listen.

Siljoy Maurer: Before all else, I am a "Potential-ogist", believing and trusting in Possibilities and the Benevolence of the Universe. Living in Truth and Authenticity, with a passion for life and for the conservation of nature (that includes us), is what I am dedicated to. Besides this I love being a Holistic Life Mentor, the desert, its sunsets, and the kind people in Tucson! I am American by birth and childhood, yet lived and trained in Europe for 30 years, before returning in 1993 via California to create Home in Tucson now. I am very conscious of my bi-culturalness.  I love being with people and foxes like being with me. Sacredness, solitude and silence I hold precious. My two favorite quotes are: "Beyond the idea of right-doing and wrong-doing there is a field. I will meet you there," Rumi "Don’t believe everything you think," Ashley Brilliant.  www.holisticperspectives.com

Richard Basch is new to Tucson. A year living in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico proved boring and he came north to go to real estate school in Tucson in search of signs of life. After a career spent as a writer about international travel, photographer, and lecturer at the Smithsonian in his home town of Washington, DC, he now plans a new adventure, becoming a realtor in Tucson. "I love stories, hearing about the lives of other people. Reality fascinates me. It's so bizarre." You can see his photo work at www.baschsudio.com
