FunK is a powerful stage performer who has been coming up in the industry for nearly a decade, crafting his brand of musical spoken word even as he did double-duty as cameraman and film producer for projects such as his weekly Cable Access show “The FunKtional Adix Showcase.” As an educator FunK has worked w/ people of all ages helping them find their own voice and the confidence to present it. Selected as the Artist in Residence for The Osborne Middle School District in 2005, he used his technical skills in Video Production to encourage and expose young minds to the world of performance poetry. Also, in 2005 was his performance-oriented workshop for the University of Arizona, where he worked w/ the University's Poetry Center to once again blend his technical and artistic skills to educate and encourage other artists. www.thefunktionaladix.com
