David Lopez, born and raised in Los Angeles, recently divorced. He has been residing in Tucson for almost 4 years. He is the father of 3 children, ages 21, 7 and 5 years of age. He has been a federal employee for over a decade and is a graduate of California Polytechnic University of Pomona where he received his degree in International Business. As a hobby, he has performed in plays, television and sung in small venues. His new found philosophy on life is to "Embrace Life".

Carole Marlowe is a TUSD Fine Arts resource teacher. Carole has been an educator in many capacities for over twenty years. She has been a teacher of English, drama and dance; served as lead teacher for at-risk students in an alternative high school; and has been a trainer of teachers in classroom management, gender equity, and personal boundaries in the classroom among others.
Her background in education is one of distinction in advocating for the student rights and intellectual freedom. The national awards she has won in defending the First Amendment include the Penn/Newman's Own First Amendment Award and the Hugh M. Hefner First Amendment Award. She is the author of Finding Safety, a book for teenagers about abuse. Carole is currently working as a resource teacher on projects involving drama, dance, at-risk students and language arts.

Earl Wettstein is a creative machine, having turned out seven plays, 200 paintings, one song, two books, and during his 40 year advertising agency career here - over 4000 ads, TV commercials and radio spots. And he has a shocking story to tell about how they gave him "aversion therapy" to cure his 4-pack smoking addiction.

Meg Villanueva was born and raised in central California. She has a BA in liberal studies and teaches Spanish at Salpointe Catholic High School. She is mother to 4 and grandmother to 10. Meg enjoys writing monologs and composing songs and children's musicals. Although she has been in Tucson for three years, she feels like it's been much longer-but in a good way. This is her first time as a storyteller on this stage, but she is not unduly concerned, since her job as Spanish teacher calls for her to improvise stories every day!

Bridgitte Thum is an artist, muralist, and muse. Born and raised in Tucson Arizona, she likes cold concrete floors and sunsets from loungechairs. Bridgitte likes to perform stand up comedy, and paint pictures. She currently writes for the Examiner- documenting little known Tucson related subjects. Bridgitte grew up working as an extra on movie sets at Old Tucson, and has been seen on HGTV because she once had a really tacky bathroom. Bridgitte is happy to be here.

A one-time well-paid Hollywood screenwriter (still trying to UNquit), Steve Barancik is the founder of Tucson's (now defunct) Monolog Cabin , and the current proprietor of Best Children's Books - Find, Read or Write . (Fires himself nearly every evening, but usually finds himself rehired by morning.) A former adjunct lecturer at the University of Arizona (until "retiring" after a grueling half semester and s ummer session), Barancik is trying to wean himself from the quitting habit and see more things through, but
