JULY 5, 2006 "Lost and Found" Adventurer/Author/Photographer Mark McMahon wrote and photographed his way through 15 countries on his way to the end of the world! His solo driving odyssey from Tucson to Tierra del Fuego is the subject of his latest book, Driving to the End of the World. His stories are often humorous, sometimes very personal but always entertaining. He is working on a novel inspired by his adventures in Latin America entitled On the Streets and Between the Sheets. Visit www.LiveYourAdventure.com to register to receive his Adventure Alerts. Doug Cornell has accumulated stories from his work in solar energy and investment management, from raising four children, from studying history as a hobby, and from the natural silliness of life. He inflicts thesestories on family, friends, and co-workers until they beg for mercy. Now he seeks new audiences. Odyssey Storytelling is his next victim. A native Philadelphian, he has lived in Tucson since 1978 where he is a volunteer trauma chaplain at University Medical Center, mental health chair of the Tucson Airport Authority Crisis Response Team and president of the Tucson Procrastinators Club. He owns a bed and breakfast at the edge of the desert in Tucson's northeast foothills, www.oraibiplace.com. Linda Kavak is new to the story telling even though she has been event specialist to a children’s multimedia retail business in the Washington DC area as well as a performer in community theatre and different singing groups. She currently sings for a local church in Tucson which is her first passion. Her second passion is working with sick and at-risk children and eventually wants to incorporate story telling while working with these children. Linda hopes that you will enjoy hearing her favorite"Lost & Found" story as much as she enjoys sharing it. Kaitlin Meadows is a freckled wren, a garden sprite, and a freelance adventuress. A retired hospice nurse, she happily transplanted from San Diego a few years ago to consort with her performance poet partner Albert Lannon. Kaitlin is an emerging visual artist with Woman Kraft Gallery, a wildlife tracker with Sky Island Alliance, and founder of the local CodePink Women For Peace chapter. She volunteers with Habitat For Humanity, is a part of the lively Southwest Crones, and is a poet with a chapbookout called The Lost Tribe Chronicles. She believes stories are the lifeblood of the heart and the music of the soul. ODYSSEY STORYTELLING PHOTOS and BIOS |
