Odyssey Storytelling group takes their craft ‘on the road’

Storytelling is our first language. Not only as a civilization (tales of the Mastodon hunt must have been enthralling) but also as humans.

The rules of storytelling are fairly simple: be natural, be entertaining, be persuasive, and plant just enough images and feelings in listeners’ minds so their imaginations might also participate. This month, six Tucson-area storytellers will give it a go when they tackle the topic "On the Road." These six include some professionals, but there is also a cowboy, a former city council member, and a retired middle-school band teacher in the bunch. Odyssey Storytelling.
