Glenda Bonin has been performing for more than twenty-five years, and has been making her living as a storyteller since 1996. Glenda tours and has performed at a variety of venues throughout the country. She was born in Wyoming, raised in Oregon and currently lives in Tucson. Her first CD, “The Family Gazette,” was produced in 2003 and features stories about life in the west during the 1940s.

Mike Haggerty rode on horseback to a one room elementary school in the mountains of Northeastern Oregon. He's had many careers including commercial salmon fishing in Alaska and filming early music videos far too soon for public availability. Bought a school bus and, after outfitting, his family spent nine months touring Mexico and Belize. He and his wife started crafting turquoise jewelry which led to a retail store and, with changes, they have been in the biz for the past 32 years. He's served as Fourth Avenue Merchants Association director and managed the Street Fair for five presentations. He served on the City Council, replacing George Miller when he ran for Mayor. He's on the board of the Southern Arizona ACLU. Mike has been married to Mimi for 52 years; has 5 children and 11 grandchildren.

Teresa Dawn Driver: feminist poet, activist, pacifist, union leader, soapbox preacher, loudmouthed pagan, stage manager, daughter of Jody, wife of Jaison, Mother of Kira who dances and Ryan who drums and a four drawer file cabinet full of abandoned ideas.

Zay Hartigan was born and raised to age 15, in Detroit Michigan. He learned to love the land on his Grandmothers farm, and to love travel crossing the country in the family van. After the farm was sold, and Zay's family moved to Connecticut, he hit the road using only his thumb, a backpack, and a skateboard. The next 7 years saw him traveling by various means, with a home base in Santa Cruz California. In 1991, he landed in Arizona, and set down roots, first in Tucson, and then in the surrounding ranch community. Today he resides in a quiet ranching valley on the Mexican border. Among his many interests and activities are firefighting, computer repair, and creating haunted houses at his home and at the firehouse on Halloween.

Hilary Lyons narrowly escaped Los Angeles in 1992, just before the big earthquake. She earned a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona which prepared her for a job as President Bush's speech writer. Unfortunately he chose to wing it instead. So she decided to utilize her skills by doing scientific research for a few years. Hilary is now married and has three children, ages 3, 5 and 16 divided by 2 minus 1, who are home schooled. In her “spare” time, Hilary is a Professional Organizer and a writer. She co-wrote the Political Comedy Show that was produced at the Wilde Playhouse last month. She is also a member of the Comedy Improv troupe, Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed. When Hilary grows up, she wants to be Tina Fey.

Kali Tal has a Ph.D. in American Studies from Yale University and has been teaching at the University of Arizona for seven years. She is also a working artist and is anticipating a full time art career when here UA contract ends in 2006. She learned the art of storytelling from eight of her uncles, all of whom were enormous liars.
